LEAD Series: Communication & Goal Setting Presented by Texas MBA & Texas MSTC

Thursday, January 24, 2019 (11:30 AM - 1:00 PM) (CST)

Description

Speaker Series is now LEAD Series! Now you can look forward to ongoing professional development, community and civic engagement, and personal balance opportunities throughout the year.

LEAD Series continues the conversations of the LEAD Summit. Join us on February 15 for the full day conference. Learn more about the LEAD Summit here

It has been said that only 3% of people write down their goals that they want to attain in the future. Studies have shown that when people write down their goals and take it to the next step of verbalizing it, they are 42% more likely to reach their goals.

When was the last time you sat down and thought through what your goals are and wrote them down? Dale Carnegie found that there are 5 key drivers to success. Join us for lunch to discuss what those drivers are and do a self-assessment of where we are in those areas. We will build an action plan on what area we need to focus on to get us to our destination.

At the completion of the module, participants will be able to:

  • Discover the 5 drivers of success
  • Set goals
  • Improve your memory

Lunch will be provided.
