Members-Only Holiday Party + Give Back Drive

Grab your Holiday Attire and join the Austin Young Chamber for our Members Only Holiday Party! This event is open to members and their +1 as our way of saying thank you for being part of our organization. 

Join us at Bouldin Acres in South Austin in a private section with indoor and outdoor seating. You'll be able to enjoy a complimentary cocktail from our friends at Tito's Handmade Vodka and purchase additional food and drinks from Bouldin Acres and their onsite food trucks: CM Smokehouse (BBQ) and Gringo Loco (tex mex).

Bouldin Acres also has pickleball courts, lawn games, TV's, and a dog-friendly patio.

Attire is Festive Casual. This is a 21+ only event. 

We strongly recommend using Cap Metro's Trip Planner or your favorite ridesharing service to get to the event and back home safely.

This year's Holiday Party Give Back has been organized by the Austin Young Chamber's Leadership Service Committee. We are asking each attendee to bring a minimum of one item listed below. These items will be collected at the door and distributed to our nonprofit partners: The SAFE Alliance and Refugee Services of Texas.

About SAFE

The SAFE Alliance and we serve survivors of child abuse, domestic violence, sexual assault, and exploitation. Ultimately, their mission is to stop abuse for everyone. They envision a future where everyone, no matter their race, religion, gender identity, or sexuality, can live in a just and safe community free from violence and abuse. 

SAFE has chosen eight main issues to target with their services. These include sexual assault and your rights, child abuse, domestic violence, dating violence, sex trafficking, sexual harassment in the workplace, how to develop healthy relationships, and parenting tips and resources. In order to approach these issues in a sensitive and helpful manner, SAFE has a number of guiding principles that include respectful and trusting relationships, diversity, accessibility, and inclusiveness, continuous learning and adaption, and safety for people and the organization.


In-Person Event Expectations for Attendees:

✅ Greet each other with non-physical contact

✅ Maintain social distancing when possible

✅ Color-coded name tags at check-in to denote social interaction comfort level

Founded in 1978, Refugee Services of Texas (RST) is a social-service agency dedicated to providing assistance to refugees and other displaced persons fleeing persecution based on race, religion, nationality, political opinion, or membership in a particular social group - as well as to the communities that welcome them.
